Lava Hot Springs

We just returned from a fun family reunion in Lava Hot Springs. We met up with our family there and had a lot of fun. My parents and my younger (very pregnant) sister came with her husband and they stayed at an inn, and my family and my older sister and her family camped at a camp site across the road from the inn. My other sister that is in Texas was not able to come and we missed her a lot. Our kids had so much fun playing together and it was so nice to see everone.

We swam at the big pool with the kids and had so much fun playing with them in the pool and watching some of the guys jump off of the platforms!! It is so nice to be with my family and to be able to just sit and visit with everyone. The kids loved playing hide and seek and sitting around the campfire. The weather was very nice and hot for us also, some of us got a little sunburned.

On Sunday we had a dinner at the park with all of our extended family. A lot of people showed up and we had a lot of yummy food. They had a raffle and an auction to raise money for next years reunion and the kids won lots of cool things at the raffle. It was very hard to say goodbye to my family, especially my little sis who is going to have a baby in August and I will not see her until after the baby comes. She is looking very cute pregnant and we are excited to meet little May. We had a blast and I cannot wait to see everyone again!
