Short socks

My oldest who is now 7 loves short sock, some call them sport socks. He really loves short socks and he will not wear shorts unless he has some short socks to wear with them. Because he loves them so much I have had to thow a lot of them out because of the holes in them so he has only one or two pairs left to wear. The other day I was on the phone with my sister and DL came to me and asked me if I could take some of his other socks, that are not short, and cut them off so that they would be short socks. I said that it was a good idea but it wouldn't quite work the way that he probably would want it to. I thought that it was very funny and my sister laughed and said- you will have to blog that!- This is even funnier to those of you who really know DL and how picky he is about the clothes he wears and what his sister and brother wear.
