Yesterday was DL's first day of 2nd grade! He has been so excited all week to be able to go back to school. We went and met his teacher on Wednesday and put all of his school supplies away. When we put them to bed that night he was so excited. It took him about an hour and a half to finally fall asleep and then he was up at 6 the next morning asking when the bus came. Last year he was the only kid on our street and he had to catch the bus alone. This year we have more neighbors and there are five of them that get on the bus in the morning. I hope that he can keep his excitement up throughout the whole school year. I cannot believe that I have a 2nd grader!! I have also signed up to go and voulenteer in his class for an hour every Monday morning, I was not able to do this last year because SL was born at the beginning of the school year and I didn't want to have to leave him, so I am very excited to be able to go in and work in the school with his class once a week. I am so thankful for all of my neighbors one of them is willing to watch my kids so that I can do this! I also signed BL and TL up for a storytime at the library once a week. They are excited to be able to go to storytime.

Story-time sounds so fun! I can't believe Dayne is in second grade either! That's crazy! Next year you'll have two in school.
