Apples, apples, and more apples

Today me and the 3 older kids went to an apple orchard and picked some apples. They are Honey Crisp apples and they are so yummy. They are only $5 a bushel! We got 2 boxes full and it only cost me $5!!! The guy told me that if I put them in my fridge they would last until March or April! I fit one whole box of apples in my bottom drawer in my fridge! The guy also told me that they are very good dehydrated. He let us taste some that he had done and they were so good, they were like candy. He said that he didn't even have to soak them in lemon juice. Some are on my dehydrator right now drying. I am so excited about the apples so I wanted to spread the word. If anyone wants to know where to get them let me know and I will tell you. It is only a few miles from my house. And to my family: I will see some of you this weekend and I would be more than happy to bring you some! He also has Sweet Sixteen, and Golden Delicious apples. He has so many left and he said that he will probably lose a lot of them when it freezes! Go pick apples! They are some of the best apples I have ever tasted and they are cheap!! My kids love them too and they actually will eat the whole thing and not waste half of it.

Erin, if you get a chance go get me some and just give them to M&D this next weekend. My boys would love some! YUMMY! You and your fruits this season put all the rest of us to shame!

Hi Erin,

I can't remember exactly how I stumbled upon you, but this post has warranted a response from me! We went to high school together, and although we weren't good friends, I certainly recognized your picture! Also, who can resist apples at that price?? (Well, I may be able to if you liver far away.) Anyway, I live in Lehi Utah and am just curious about this orchard :)

You kids are darling, and you sound like you are doing really well.
