The other day DL got this idea that he wanted to make a sword out of paper. Well, of course I ended up helping him and then TL and BL needed one also. Then D comes and makes them even better by putting more papers on them so that they are stiffer and don't flop over. The swords are made out of DL's school papers that come home (already corrected). They have played with these swords the last two days and we keep having to fix them. My question is this......Why do we spend our money on toys at the store when they are perfectly happy with old school papers and staples and tape? Guess what my kids will be getting for Christmas!! :) Just kidding!

I totally agree! Cardboard boxes are another must. It is just too funny what they find to play with.
You and your sisters would spend hours playing with cardboard boxes.
Cheap and entertaining toys!
