Bye Bye Binky!

We had been letting SL still use his binky for nap time and bed time, and he really loves his binky. D decided that enough was enough and on Friday put him down for nap without his binky. He slept good for nap but I was nervous to see how bed time would go. He cried when we put him down but he did fall asleep. He then woke up at around 1 a.m. and cried for 2 hours! He finally fell back asleep and slept until morning. The last two nights have been a little better but he still wants that binky in the middle of the night. It will be nice when he is over it and will sleep better. I have not thrown the binky away yet but I should do something to have it completely gone!

On Saturday our friends, the Harris family, invited us to go sledding up on the ski hill here. Chris's dad is the General Manager of the ski hill and since they are closed for the season they thought it would be fun to go up there and go sledding. It was such a pretty day on Saturday, a perfect day for sledding! It was a little scary going down, especially because I usually had SL with me in the sled but the kids loved it and had so much fun. My friend Briana got pictures and I will post them when I get them from her.

The weather here is getting pretty nice. We still have our cold and windy days but all of the snow in our yard is gone! Now we just need to wait for it to dry out so that we can get it ready for grass! I am so excited for grass and for the warm weather! D and the kids set up our basketball hoop on Saturday and DL loves going out there and playing.

Okay so last weeks quote was from 'City of Angels'! Way to go Jenn and Niki! Here is this weeks;
