So lately SL will come up to me and say "Batman is coming!" He is very excited about it and also a little scared. This all began when I was attempting to potty train him (which was unsuccessful). While he would be trying to go potty he would say this to me. He has started saying it again just recently. So, this morning as I was getting ready he came in and said, "Batman is coming!" So I say, "Cool, what is he going to do?" SL says back, "Batman going to church with me!" What a little missionary, trying to convert the brave Batman! :) So then I ask what they will be doing after and he says that they will be playing cars. He is such a funny little guy. We will let you know how things go with the playdate with Batman.
As most of you have realized SL is now 2 and boy, is he becoming terrible. The other day at a Relief Society meeting that I went to we decorated sugar cookies and I brought home 4 small ones and 2 big ones for the kids. The next morning BL and DL catch SL eating one of the little cookies and they take it away and put it back. Later that day I was cleaning downstairs and TL and SL were upstairs, I went up to check on them and SL had found the cookies once again (I had covered them and put them back in the corner of the counter) and had taken at least one bite out of EVERY cookie and eaten half of one of the big ones! He got in trouble and needless to say the kids got half eaten cookies for their snack. I was thinking how naughty he was as I went back downstairs to finish cleaning and I should have known better than to leave him out of my sight one more second. After a while I went back upstairs and he had taken glass cleaner and my kitchen counter cleaner and sprayed them all over my kitchen floor and was "cleaning" with the broom and a washcloth. Oh, he keeps me on my toes! Since then he had dumped out our garlic salt all over the counter and floor and helps himself to anything in the pantry. Bring it on SL, bring it on!!
On to other news, we got a new vacuum (which I love) the other day and of course it came in a big box. The kids unfolded the box and then thought it was a wonderful idea to slide down the stairs on it. I thought it was so funny so here are some videos of it. It reminded me of college at Hillcrest Apartments sliding down the stairs in our sleeping bags and anything else we could think of. BL does get hurt in the second video and that may have been their last turn I think. I am also talking to my sister Megan while I am video taping the second one (don't think I am crazy talking quietly to myself). Kind of perfect timing on Megan's part to call me right then, I am pretty sure it was all her idea to slide down the stairs in our Hillcrest Apartments! :)

This looks so fun. I can't believe you didn't do it yourself! My body aches though after looking at Booke's face at the end. :(
Usally I would say we should get our kids together, but SL and Gabe together....we wouldn't have a house left.
WOW, it is weird to hear your voice after almost 15 years!!! It is much deeper and manly...just kidding. Your kids look like fun go-getters.
Erin-
I used to slide down our stairs when we were kids. Thanks for bringing back memories. Your cute little pumpking (SL), He reminds me of my baby N. I would best describe SL as a true blue boy, always curious, wanting always to push your buttons, etc. If you have time write down all of which he is done, so, you can remember all the ruff times he had and blackmail him in the future, or just laugh at him either way you will have some good memories.
Take care.
Oh, but how cute that SL is! Can you believe your baby is 2? Crazy! Looks like fun!
It looks fun but scary! You have some fun kids and are excited about seeing them this coming week.
I wish I could do that. I wish I had stairs.So I could do that.That was awesome.
