Update

Here we go..... We have been busy lately with a lot of stuff and I have not taken that many pictures. Sorry!! We have been busy with school, yard work, church callings and all of the other stuff that fills our days. Every one is doing great and the kids are doing really well in school. They are very ready for school to be done and to have the warm weather come (we have not had a lot of sunshine lately). We registered TL for Kindergarten for next year and he is so excited to go to school with the kids, he is always asking when he gets to start going. SL is now 2 1/2 and is quite the character, he is trouble with a capital T and he thinks he should always get his way. I wonder what he will do next year when all the others will be in school? Probably drive me crazy!! The kids are always saying that SL is the funniest one in the family and they are probably right, he is very funny and always makes us laugh. The 3 older kids will be starting baseball in June and we will have at least one game every night during the week!! I have recently been called to the Young Women's in our ward as the Beehive Advisor and I am soo excited. I have served in the Young Women's before and I absolutely love it!! I am nervous and excited to serve with the girls and look forward to getting to know them. BL has been in dance all year and her dance recital is on Saturday. I will post a video of it soon and when my printer decides to work I will scan in some of her dance pictures. She has enjoyed it but is anxious to be done with it. DL had the pinewood derby this last month and he had a great time. We all had fun helping with the car and watching him race it. He did not have the fastest time but he won the award for the most colorful car!! What a handsome boy!!

This past week was our ward's birthday party and they have a cake decorating contest every year for it. These are the cakes that the kids and I made for it. They were a lot of fun to make and everyone liked them. They ended up not having the contest but a lot of people came with some very creative cakes. The shaped on the white cake are fruit rollups (sorry Meg, did you gag?).

I have now started to receive the newspaper everyday and I will be getting 5 of them every Sunday for couponing. I have some friends that are crazy couponing ladies and I have decided to join their ranks! Any couponing advice is welcome. I also have been working very hard and eating better and exercising and I have lost a total of 10 pounds so far. It has taken me awhile to lose this much (since Feb. 1) but I am now going full throttle and hopefully it will come off a lot faster. Hopefully you will hear from me soon but I make no promises!!
