We still have been pretty busy here in our house lately. I never seem to catch up on things, but now I will at least have the blog caught up, sort of. Here is a picture of the kids on the first day of school (last time I posted the uploader was down) DL is in 4th, BL is in 1st, and TL is in Kindergarten! I cannot believe that I have a 4th grader, he is getting so big and tall, he now comes to my shoulder. We did have a couple of birthdays in October. SL turned 3! Here he is opening one of his presents, some how I did not get a picture of him with his cake, this was the best picture I got of him on his birthday. He is such a funny little kid and can make us all laugh, he loves his brothers and his sister so much and misses them while they are at school, but he sure keeps me on my toes at home!
BL turned 7! Here she is with one of her presents, a guitar! She was so excited and loves to play it and make up songs. We need to find someone who can teach her a little bit. You can also see the cool lap desk thing that my parents gave to her behind her on the couch. She is such a beautiful little girl and I am so glad to have her as my only daughter, we love doing each others hair and I love painting her nails for her, we have a good time together. Her dream has always been "to sing on a big stage"! Move over Taylor Swift!! My parents came and stayed with us for their birthdays, I love having them here. They are so much fun to have here and it is always so sad to see them leave. My kids love playing with them (Dad, SL still plays with the army guys on the basket and sets them all up like you would with him)!
Halloween was a blast this year. As you can see the kids dressed up as the Wizard of Oz characters. They had fun and they looked so dang cute! We had our wards Trunk or Treat and then the next night was the schools carnival. DL and BL went through the spook alley at the school and BL came out crying. It was very scary but as soon as DL saw that she was scared he told the people in the spook alley to knock it off and got her out of there. What a good big brother! We had a lot of fun carving our pumpkins too, you can see some of them in the picture with the kids. D had to carve a pumpkin for a contest for one of the businesses in town and he won first place!!
We got our yard all ready for the winter and are now just waiting for the snow. It will be nice to just focus on the house for the winter and not have to worry about the yard and garden for awhile. Hope you all are well, I love reading all of your blogs so keep posting!!
