All the way from Texas!

These past few days we have had my sister Megan and our good friend Anne Marie here visiting us with their dogs, Starbuck and Saul. They decided to take a road trip and drive all the way up here to Idaho from Texas to see the family here and in Boise and to be able to see Lucy when her new baby comes. We really enjoyed having them here and loved spending time with them. We did a lot of fun things with them. We had lunch at Leatherby's with the kids and had some delicious ice cream and Megan, Anne Marie, and I went and saw Mama Mia! It was such a good movie, I definitly recommend it to anyone who is thinking of going to see it! We also went to a few shops here in town. We went to The Prepared Pantry and wanted to spend a lot of money! Here at the house we played the Wii and we worked in the yard. We also had a lot of fun playing games with them.

My kids loved having them here and they loved the dogs. Starbuck and Saul are the coolest dogs ever. They were so amazing with my kids, expecially with SL who is just about 9 months. They loved him and Starbuck was especially sweet to him. SL started crawling when Megan and Anne Marie were here. The first time he did it he crawled to Megan, it was neat that they were able to see him make that big step, or crawl, I guess.

On Saturday D had a skid steer from a friend so he was leveling out all of the dirt in our yard so we went out with the kids to play on our dirt hills one more time. Megan and Anne Marie tried out their new sport Dirtboarding. (check out the dirtboarding video on right side of my blog.)
I loved to be able to just sit and visit with them during the day and playing with the kids. I only get to see them a couple of times a year so I really tried to get the most out of my time with them. We leave here on Wednesday morning to go over to Boise to see them again and to see my other sister Tory and her family and my Mom and my Dad. It will be our last trip for the summer so I am really looking forward to it. My little sister Lucy will not be there with us, she is only 21 days away from her due date!!!! We are so excited to meet little May!

Erin I can't believe how big all the kids are getting. Scott looks so big and I'm sad we don't know him more. I'm glad you got to visit with your sister.
