A nice vacation

We arrived back home from visiting family in Boise on Sunday night and I have been busy making apricot jam and syrup the last few days so I have not had a chance to tell you all about our trip. We left on Wednesday and we stayed until Sunday. We had so much fun with my family. The kids loved playing together and the adults loved being able to visit and relax. We played alot of outside games with the kids, like Red Rover, Breakout, Capture the flag and Octopus. It was so much fun being able to play those games again. The kids also enjoyed jumping on the trampoline with their cousins. We also had a huge water fight and we all got soaked!! Our good friend Kim came from Las Vegas to see us, my family had not seen her since TL was a baby. It was so good to see her. We also went to Applebee's one night to eat and we also went to the Westside Drive-in and had ice cream potatoes, yummy!! On our last night their we roasted marshmellows and had smores in my Dad's back yard and sang camp songs. D and I got a new camera before we went and I had so much fun taking pictures of the kids and of everything that we did. I ended up taking over 400 pictures!!! Which I am sure you will see alot of them on my blog. It was hard to leave and say goodbye to everyone, especially Megan and Annemarie. We will not see them until Christmas. We really had a good time and I cannot wait until I can see my family again.
