Long Night

Last night I went to girls night out with a bunch of my friends to Applebee's and I had so much fun. Just as we were getting ready to leave D called me (this was around 10:00 p.m.) and told me that SL woke up crying and wouldn't go back to sleep. SL got his immunizations in the morning so I figured that his legs were sore and it was keeping him up. When I got home SL was still awake and didn't act tired at all so I let him sit with me in my bed for awhile. I finally went and put him in his bed thinking that he would just fall asleep. I could hear him in his room rolling around in his crib and making noises for the next half and hour. He then started crying so I went in and gave him some Tylenol and took him with me. He was still wide awake and acted like he wanted to play. He did keep crying but when he would stop he wouldn't rub his eyes or act like he was tired at all. I tried everything, I rocked him and sang to him I walked up and down the hall with him. D tried all of those things to but SL was not having it. He acted mad that we were trying to get him to go to sleep. I finally put him in my bed and turned on the tv to see what he would do. Well, he watched Alton Brown on the food network make creamed corn and corn bread and then we watched the next episode about squash! He finally fell asleep at 2:00 in the morning!!!! Has anyone ever heard of immunizations keeping a baby awake at night? He didn't really act like he was in any pain he was just annoyed with us trying to get him to go to sleep

What a crazy night. Actually a lady in my ward mentioned her 6 month old not sleeping much after he got his immunizations. Good luck.
