Sensitive Child

Today I watched College Road Trip with my kids. It was such a cute movie and very funny too. At the end of the movie they had to say goodbye to their daughter as they drop her off at school and of course it made me cry but I was trying very hard to hide it so that my kids wouldn't stare at me (you with kids know what I am talking about, they are always fascinated when mom cries). Anyway, I glance over to DL and he has tears streaming down his face. He is crying so hard! I pulled him over to me and hugged him and asked him why he was crying, he said that he is scared to leave home when he is bigger! That made me cry even more. What a sweetheart, he is so sensitive and I cannot decide if that is a good thing or a bad thing. I hope he will be more open to leaving home when it is time for his mission!

Aawwwww! What a sweet spirit you have there! I have one like that too when it had to do with her great-grandma who passed away last year. We went to the Kellie Pickler concert as a "Girls Night Out"...me and Sierra and Grace that is, and she(grace) was crying during "My Angel" because it was about her grandma and Grace knew it. It made me bawl and we had a nice "moment". I'll never forget it. Enjoy it now, before we know it they won't want anything to do with us, sigh.
