Okay, so now fast forward to a few days later and BL and TL are playing in her room. A few minutes later they come out to the living room with her dress up box. BL asks TL if he wants to wear a dress and he says, "Yeah!" So BL helped him get into a dress and then put fairy wings on and high heels. He was excited and showed me and said, "I'm a boy fairy!" At least he didn't say he was a girl, right? They played for a while in the dresses and TL had a hard time walking in the shoes. Yes, D happened to be home and saw the whole thing go down, and he just laughed and called TL a little princess only to be told very quickly that "no I am a boy fairy!" I am not going to worry so much about how much TL likes playing these things right now. I am going to let him explore his imagination and love him for being a very pretty boy fairy!

The Boy Fairy
I guess this is what happens when you are best friends and stuck at home all day with your only sister. TL and BL are such good friends and they play so well together during the day. I love to see how close they are becoming and watching them play together. Most of the time they play things that they both enjoy and love doing, things like playing school and house. BL got the totally awesome game of Pretty, Pretty Princess for Christmas and loved playing it with Nana and her Aunts Tory, Megan, and Lucy. She even played a game or two with her (boy) cousins. ;) TL asked her the other day if he could play it with her and so we got it out and the three of us played a game. TL loved it! As you can see in the picture he really enjoyed it and loved getting the earring on. He now asks me at least once everyday to play Pretty, Pretty Princess. I thought it was a good lesson to teach him to enjoy and to be willing to play some of the things that BL enjoys doing, especially since she is the only sister and does not have a sister to play girly things with.

Hehehehehehee! I love it! I'm glad my boy is not the only one around "dressing up" with his sister! He is definitely a very pretty boy fairy!
Oh man, your poor kid is going to groan every time you pull this picture out. I bet you cannot wait until he is old enough to date so you can show all his girlfriends how he is a fairy princess. He looks like a good brother though.
Hey Erin, Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. We are doing good. It is sure nice to hear from you and you family is so darn cute. If it is okay I will add you to my friends list. Mandie
