It has been very cold here. Yesterday school was cancelled because it was so cold outside. We enjoyed having DL home from school. I am tired of the cold and the snow and I am so ready for spring to come. SL is growing up so fast and he is so much fun. I love the age that he is at, (15 months) I think that it is my favorite age. He is starting to talk a little and loves to blow kisses and give hugs. He also has started to say thank you, well, at least grunting so that it sounds like thank you. He recently had his second haircut, it makes him look so grown up.
DL has started Basketball and it is very entertaining to watch them learn how to play. He had his first game on Saturday and they lost but he had so much fun. The whole time that he is playing he has a huge smile on his face and you can tell that he is having a great time. D said that he looked like he was dancing most of the time because he bounces around so much. It is great fun to watch, I will get pictures and post them.
This year one of our goals was to have FHE every week, so far, so good! We have been very good and sticking to it and making sure that we have it every week. I hope that we can continue doing it and not let it slip like we have in the past. We have done it for 4 weeks and 3 of those times one of our kids has cried! It is usually BL. Her eyes will fill up with tears and then you ask her what is wrong and she will just start crying and say, I don't know why! I will ask her if she is happy or sad and how she feels inside, and she will say that she is happy and that she feels good inside. Wow! I love that kids can feel the spirit and that I am there with them to explain to them what they are feeling. She is such a sweetie!
Also, my family is starting a new blog. It is called Sibbett Crush and it is a blog about the things that we love (recipes, books, movies, music etc.) We are getting it up and running and I will let you know when it is ready. I am really excited about it and hope that it works out the way we would like it to. Well I think I have caught you up on the exciting things happening in our home. Hopefully it will not be so long in between posts anymore.
