10 years and counting...

Today is mine and D's 10 year anniversary! I can hardly believe that we have been married for 10 years, it does not seem that long and yet we have done so much in that time. We were married on March 5th, 1999 in the Salt Lake Temple very early in the morning. It was very cold, I remember having to wear my big poofy green winter coat in between our pictures. D is an amazing man and I love him more today than I did 10 years ago. In honor of our 10 years together here is my 10 favorite things about him.

1. He promised me that he would make me laugh everyday and I am pretty sure he has. He always knows how to make me laugh and he is always making the kids laugh too.
2. He is such a hard worker, he is always willing to do things for other people and he loves doing those things.
3. He makes me feel beautiful.
4. He is really good with people and it makes up for my shyness, he is almost always willing to go and talk to new people and it helps me to make more friends.
5. He is very handsome and strong!:)
6. He is an awsome dad and the kids love wrestling with him.
7. He makes amazing steaks and hamburgers!
8. I love his hands, I love the way that they look. I know that that sounds silly but it is true!
9. He does everything he can to make our lives better, he works so hard so that I can be home with the kids and I love him so much for that.
10. He is a perfect 10 for me! I love everything about him and he is so good to me and the kids. He treats me like a queen and he is such a good example to the kids, he respects and upholds his priesthood and I am so thankful for that and to have the priesthood in my home.

I love you D, and I look forward to another 10 wonderful years with you and then many more beyond that!

So for our anniversary D has taken tomorrow off of work and when DL gets home from school we are taking them to Grandma's for the night! We are going out to dinner and then coming back home to an empty house all to ourselves! I am so excited to be able to spend so much time with just him, it has been awhile. Also for our anniversary we bought Guitar Hero World Tour for the family. We love playing it with the kids. The kids are very funny when they play it. TL is singing the songs all of the time, yesterday he was singing Hotel California! It is a blast!
