Well, here I am. It has been a long time since I have blogged and there is a lot to catch up on. My parents came and stayed with us for a few days a couple of weeks ago. We had a lot of fun with them, they were able to see DL play in his last Basketball game, my mom taught me how to knit, we played a super fun game called Bean Trader, and we ate lots of yummy food. We love having them come to visit us and are always sad to see them leave. SL kept looking for Sadie (she is their dog) for a few days after they left. Hopefully we will be able to go and see them soon.
The kids are doing great, DL has only a few months left of school and had a great time being involved in Basketball this past month. BL will be getting her first haircut tomorrow. She will only be getting a couple of inches off but she is still really excited. I hope that her curls stay, I have heard that once you cut curly hair the curls will go away, I guess we will see. TL is still a 3 year old boy and has a hard time focusing on some stuff, mainly cleaning up the toys. I was surprised the other day to realize that he can recognize the numbers 1 through 7. It is amazing what he and BL learn through DL. SL is getting tall and even skinnier if you can believe it, he is very funny and he knows that he is funny. He loves making the kids laugh and knows just what to do to get them to laugh. I love the age that he is at and I am really enjoying every minute of it.
There are a lot of other things to catch up on but it is going to wait until tomorrow. Tomorrow is a special day and I must post a special blog for it so........ more tomorrow. Oh, sorry about the Movie Quote Monday, I have not had one for the past two Mondays I will have a new one for you on Monday.
